WHAT IMMIGRATION PROGRAMS CAN I APPLY FOR?

HOW IS A WORK PERMIT DIFFERENT FROM CANADIAN IMMIGRATION VISA

A Work Permit allows an eligible individual to reside and work in Canada for a limited period of time, and restrictions are sometimes placed on the type of employment which can be pursued. It will not, by itself, lead to Canadian Permanent Residency, but can be a stepping stone to achieving this status. By contrast, a Canada Immigration Visa entitles its holder to live and work anywhere in Canada, enjoy many of the privileges of Canadian citizenship, apply for Canadian citizenship after three years and sponsor family members for Canadian Permanent Resident status.

Canada values your education and takes it into consideration for many of its Canadian immigration programs. Certain programs, such as the Skilled Worker and Provincial Nominee programs, assign a point value to your education. WHAT PROGRAM DO I APPLY FOR IF I HAVE FRIENDS OR RELATIVES IN CANADA

If you have a close relative in Canada, you might be able to obtain Canadian permanent residence under a Family Class program. In addition, having a friend already living in Canada may provide you with an option through a Provincial Nominee Program that awards points for having a close connection to the province.
